Midwest Brass Forging Co. has been providing brass, bronze, copper, and aluminum forgings to our customers since 1946. All this time we have been a family owned and run company with the second generation presently managing it on a daily basis.
We have formed mutually beneficial relationships with both our short and long term customers. Some customers only need a single run of a few hundred parts, but others have long standing orders; for example, we still forge a plumbing handle that we first made back in 1946.
Some of the industries we have served and types of parts we have manufactured over the years are:
- Valve Bodies
- Air Conditioning
- Laboratory Supplies
- Musical Instruments
- Welding Equipment
- Switch Gear
- Plumbing Hardware
|
- Environmental Controls
- Refrigeration
- Safety Equipment
- Medical Equipment
- Power Transmission
- Microwave Transmission Flanges
- Door Hardware

Currently our manufacturing facility stands at approximately 15,000 square feet with 8 forging presses ranging from 250 tons to 700 tons. Two more 250 ton presses are being installed to increase capacity further. We have also developed a close relationship with local machining companies that allows us to supply completely machined, finished parts to our customers.
We can not only provide a complete range of new parts from dies, samples, or production runs, but also over the last several years we have become proficient at adapting other forge's tooling to our presses. Our current capacity allows us to provide services for parts anywhere in the 200 to 20,000 volume range.
